Background:
In early 2023, the North American Lithium project restarted operations of its spodumene lithium mine and concentrator project located in La Corne, Québec. Sayona is currently developing its project to convert spodumene concentrate into lithium carbonate on site.
Scope of Services:
- Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for the project feasibility study of the mine and concentrator on site
- Act as a representative of the client during the preliminary technical study for the second conversion project
- Manage all metallurgical testing programs and oversee process design related to the concentrator and conversion project
- Support the reopening of the concentrator and help optimize the process
