Background:
Detailed engineering has begun on the project with a targeted production rate of 3,400 tonnes per day. The mine is expected to produce 306,000 ounces of gold every year at an average grade of 8.1 g/t. The current mine life of the project is estimated at 10 years, for a total production of 2.94 million ounces of gold.
Scope of Services:
As part of its mandate, Synectiq was integrated within Osisko Mining’s project team to act as a technical advisor and project manager. More specifically, our team helped the client:
- Manage, in collaboration with engineering firms, the general layout of the process plant and water treatment plant
- Develop the electrical infrastructure and process control strategy with the client and engineering firms
- Define and develop project controls (timeline and costs)
