Background:
The Greenstone project is currently in the execution phase to develop an open-pit mine and a 27,000 tons-per-day mineral processing facility with a gold recovery expected to average 91%. Average gold production is expected at 360,000 ounces of gold per year. With an initial 14-year mine life, the project will produce more than 5 million ounces of gold with operating costs in the lowest industry quartile.
Scope of Services:
Synectiq acted as the senior advisor for the construction and implementation of the natural gas-fired power plant. We also acted as a technical advisor for the project’s electrical and instrumentation infrastructure.
