Background:
In early 2023, the North American Lithium project restarted operations of its spodumene lithium mine and concentrator project located in La Corne, Québec. Sayona is currently developing its project to convert spodumene concentrate into lithium carbonate on site.
Scope of Services:
- Acted as a Qualified Person (QP) for the project feasibility study of the mine and concentrator on site
- Acted as a client representative for the preliminary technical study for the conversion project
- Managed all metallurgical testing programs and oversaw process design related to the concentrator and conversion project
- Supported re-design of the concentrator and optimize processing
